Creating Metrics to Visualise Data

Metrics in ProHealth Analytics allow you to visualize data by transforming information from data sources into charts and tables. These metrics can be viewed individually or on a dashboard. Follow these steps to create a new metric:

Step 1: Access Report Metrics

From the dashboard, choose "Manage Report Metrics" in the Reports section.

Step 2: Start New Metric Creation

Click the "Create New Metric" button.

Step 3: Fill in General Information

• Metric Name: Enter a descriptive name.
• Code: Enter a unique code.
• Type: Select the desired display format (Table, Bar, Line, Pie).
• Sharable: Select if the metric is sharable.

Example:

• Metric Name: Weight by Sex
• Code: weightbysex
• Type: Bar

Step 4: Add a Series

Click "Add" to create a series.

Fill in the series details:

• Label: Name of the series.
• Color: Enter RGB values.
• Operation: Select the mathematical operation.
• Datasource ID: Choose the datasource.
• Tags: Add tags to filter data.

Example:

• Label: Weight
• Operation: Average value

Step 5: Preview Series

View the series in the preview to see the visualization

Step 6: Add Groups

Click "Add" in the Groups section to configure data grouping.

Step 7: Finalize Metric

After configuring, click "Submit" to save the metric.
