We understand that remembering passwords can be challenging. To ensure the security of your account, we have implemented measures to protect your data. If you've had over 5 incorrect login attempts, your account will be temporarily locked for security reasons.
Self-Serve Account Unlock
If a company has permission, they can self-serve their account unlock by contacting the relevant team. Those with the permissions to add and update users will now be able to re-activate any account that has been locked due to unsuccessful login attempts.
Unlock Button Location:
- The button can be found in the Manage Users section agaisnt an locked user account as a small key icon.
Steps to Unlock an Account:
Find the user
- Navigate to the Manage Users section in the menu bar.
- Find the small key icon next to the locked account
Click the Icon:
- Simply click the key icon.
- Accept the prompt to confirm the unlock action.
Password Reset:
- We advise the user to perform a password reset using the ‘Forgot Password’ feature before attempting to log in again.
What to Do if Your Account is Locked
Contact Support:
- Email our support team at support@ingistechnologies.co.uk with the subject "AMS Account Unlock Request."
Provide Information:
- In your email, please include the following details:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address with AMS
- A brief description of the issue
Wait for Assistance:
- Our support team will review your request promptly during working hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am—5 pm). Once verified, we will unlock your account and notify you via email.
Preventive Measures
- Double-check Credentials: Make sure to double-check your credentials while logging in to avoid account lockouts.
- Change Password Immediately: If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password immediately.
